The Raufi and Khaliq Foundation is in honor of my two late grandfathers, Abdul Rauf Raufi and Abdul Khaliq Sulimankhail who both highly influenced the upbringing of my siblings along with myself. Growing up we were taught that no matter what we have in our hands we need to make sure our neighbor has something in theirs. Unfortunately, they were not of frivolous households and did not have the means to fulfill the needs of every person they came across, however that did not stop them from being compassionate and assisting those who they could. Both of my grandfathers had hearts of gold and welcomed anyone in need with open arms. They lived their lives for the pleasure of the less fortunate.
Today, we lay the steps to this foundation with their mantra held high. We just wish they were here to see those seeds of giving they planted in us flourish into meadows.
Our mission is to uplift families in need by providing essential support, restoring dignity, and creating lasting opportunities for a better future. Guided by compassion and inspired by the legacy of our founders, we work to ensure no one is forgotten—whether they are across the globe or in our own communities.
We focus on meeting essential needs — from food and shelter to clean water, education, and long-term community support. Every project we undertake carries forward the values of compassion, humanity, and service that defined the lives of the two grandfathers whose names we proudly carry.
