Who We Are
About Us
The Raufi and Khaliq Foundation is in honor of my two late grandfathers, Abdul Rauf Raufi and Abdul Khaliq Sulimankhail who both highly influenced the upbringing of my parents, my siblings and myself. Growing up we were taught that no matter what we have in our hands we need to make sure our neighbor has something in theirs.
Unfortunately, they were not of frivolous households and did not have the means to fulfill the needs of every person they came across, however that did not stop them from being compassionate and assisting those who they could. Both of my grandfathers had hearts of gold and welcomed anyone in need with open arms. They lived their lives for the pleasure of the less fortunate. Today, we lay the steps to this foundation with their mantra held high. We just wish they were here to see those seeds of giving they planted in us flourish into meadows.

The Raufi and Khaliq Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that spotlights on those who have been forgotten. War and the civil unrest in the Middle East have brought forward an overwhelming amount of poverty, famine, and desperation. This distress doesn’t even include what we see in our own communities. We focus on assisting those in need whether they are across the globe or across the way. Our dedicated team puts forth the needs of those in destitute and strives to work toward a better tomorrow.
